1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form on our website or completing enrolment in a course, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol. By agreeing, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under applicable law.

3. Course Description and Availability

Khun Academy offers online AI development courses delivered primarily through asynchronous reading materials, problem sets, and written mentor feedback. Courses are conducted in English. Course content, schedule, and intake dates are subject to change. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel an intake in exceptional circumstances; affected students will be notified promptly and offered alternative arrangements or a refund.

Our courses are available to students worldwide, subject to any payment restrictions applicable in your jurisdiction.

4. Enrolment

Enrolment is not confirmed until we have reviewed your background assessment and issued a written confirmation. We may decline an application if, in our assessment, the course is unlikely to be a productive match for your current level. This decision is made in good faith and in the interest of the prospective student.

Your enrolment is personal and non-transferable. You may not share course access or materials with third parties.

5. User Responsibilities

As a student, you agree to:

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials — including written content, problem sets, and assignment briefs — are the intellectual property of Khun Academy. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for the purpose of completing your enrolled course. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish course materials without our written permission.

Your own submitted work — assignments, projects, written responses — remains your intellectual property. By submitting it, you grant Khun Academy permission to use it for internal quality assurance and improvement purposes, anonymised where appropriate.

7. Payment Terms

Course fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable in full before the course start date. Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of enrolment confirmation. All transactions are subject to the terms of our payment processor.

Refund policy: A full refund is available if requested more than 14 days before the stated course start date. Requests made within 14 days of the start date and before the course begins are eligible for a 50% refund. No refund is available once course access has been granted and materials have been accessed. Requests for exceptions in cases of serious personal circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. Course Completion and Certificates

There is no minimum attendance requirement, but engagement with the full course sequence — including assignments and the closing project — is expected for completion. A completion certificate may be issued on request following completion of all required elements. Certificates confirm participation and completion; they do not constitute formal academic accreditation.

9. Disclaimers

Our courses are provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure course materials are accurate and current, but we make no representations as to the completeness or fitness for any particular purpose of the content provided. Studying our courses does not constitute a qualification or professional certification.

Learning outcomes depend on the effort and prior knowledge of each student. We do not make representations about employment outcomes, salary changes, or career advancement resulting from course completion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Khun Academy's total liability in connection with any course shall not exceed the fee paid by you for that course. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of data, loss of income, or any loss resulting from your reliance on course content.

We are not liable for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, natural disasters, or government action.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Khun Academy and its instructors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of course materials, or your infringement of the rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to a course if you breach these Terms — in particular, the provisions relating to academic honesty or unauthorised sharing of materials. In such cases, no refund will be issued. You may withdraw from a course at any time, subject to the refund terms in Section 7.

Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11 of these Terms survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes not resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai Province.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We will notify enrolled students of significant changes by email. Continued use of our website or participation in a course after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
